I ran this morning @ 7:30 am , the run I did was a little over 2 miles (about 2.3) and it took me forever! I have a slow but steady pace. My average right now is about 10.6 minute mile. So slow, but I ran the whole thing and did not stop!
ReplyDeleteYEAH for you! I'm still bummed that Richard and I are not going to be there for this EPIC event! I am all for a LONG run on the Saturday we are at the cabin!
ReplyDeleteMy current "normal" workout schedule looks like this:
Monday: Run 4 miles
Tuesday: Cross Training Class
Wednesday: Cross Training Class
Thursday: Cross Training Class
Friday: Run 4 miles
Saturday: Run long miles (anywhere from 6-10 miles depending on who I convince to go with me.)
I am slow and steady as well, but at least I make the distance!
Yeah I can see my toes!!!! We're making progress.
ReplyDeleteI ran/walked yesterday. I ran 2 miles, slow, slow, but I ran the first mile without stopping.
ReplyDeleteAspen I'm glad you can see your toes.:)
Great Job Becca, at least you finished it! Aspen, you make me laugh! Did 3 miles today, had to stop twice to tie my shoe, took me 40 minutes, lost my momentum, I didn't start until almost 8:30, way too hot, need to keep to mornings or late at night. I need to find an area that has some rolling hills to run tomorrow. Not ready for steep inclines yet. Slow is better than quitting, right? Are we going to run the 5K at the cabin on July 2nd? Make that our small, baby step goal we will complete.
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't get a run in today. But I biked a good 30 min. up and down hills. Tomorrow Paul E is coming into town for a softball game and I am going running with him. I let you know how that goes. Does the 5K take place of the 7 mile run:)
ReplyDeleteDidn't run last night Paul has too many things going on at the same time, and I was too worn out after pack meeting. Hopefully today will be better.
ReplyDeleteThe end of this week kind of fell apart, but next week is a new start right? On Saturday I did run 2 miles before picking up my bountiful basket and planned on running later in the evening, but as weekends go, ran out of time and energy to do second run in the evening. On Sunday, Katelyn was in charge of FHE and she wanted to do a family bike ride, so we got all the bikes ready, which took a few hours, and then went on a 6 mile bike ride. My BUTT is sore! Took Monday off to recover.
ReplyDeleteI started running this week and today was my first 2 a day. I walked/ran 2 miles this morning then went to the gym this afternoon and did another 1.5 miles with resistence. I'm working on getting into a routine.
ReplyDeleteBecca, how are your legs feeling after Troy worked on your shin splints? He did mine today and they were pretty bad.
I did a 5k on saturday to see what my time was. I thought I did pretty good for doing it in a little over 38 minutes since I just started back running on monday. Slow and steady but we're getting there. how is everyone else doing? No body has posted anything in quite a while.
